I recently captured this image in Southampton across the road from the beach. These five blue buildings have given me an excuse to write a blog post about the colour blue. Let’s face it, its February and its cold. We can’t wait for summer. We’re not sure if its going to rain this week or if its going to snow next month. But the good news is that the evening skies are gradually getting lighter, slowly but surely!
Let me ask you a question, how are you feeling today? If you’re not feeling on top of the world, let me say that I know what its like to feel blue. The older I get the quicker seasons seem to come along, which means even though we are currently in winter, knowing that summer is around the corner provides a little hope on the days we’re feeling cold and a little down. Whatever experience you are going through at the moment is always subject to change! If you are broke today, there’s every chance your finances could look better in six months. If you’re single at the moment and longing for love, the partner of your dreams could be just around the corner.
The long and short of it is, if you feel blue, just enjoy the colours for now, and look forward to the good times ahead. And don’t forget what these blue moments feel like, it will help you to enjoy and appreciate your summertime sunshine all the more.
